Humanizing AI Learning with ELSA avatars
ELSA is an AI-powered English speaking coach serving 90M+ learners worldwide. I led growth and activation experiments across the core learning experience — onboarding, paywalls and the daily practice loop — working with the team from concept to shipped product.
As part of the redesign tiger team, I drove key product transformation initiatives — reworking foundational flows and patterns as the product scaled across platforms.
Designing an AI copilot for insurance advisors
I was responsible for leading the product Phase 0 - research, foundation flows and launch as the Team Lead. I managed designers, contract vendors, and an external development agency while coordinating multiple parallel workstreams. I reported to consultants and CEO (client).
I created the foundational design system, theme and core flows while working with team for product flows. The project launched in record time of 8 months, and since has reached 50K downloads on play store.
Art & Community
My identity over the years have been shaped by these two terms. Over the last 7 years, I have worked with startups in different capacity - a lot of times being the early or founding designer. I have also been running aoh for over 5 years partnering with companies like CRED, Razorpay, ADPList, Lottiefiles, Figr, CREX, Drickle, Inkle, and many more. I thrive in 0 to 1 building stage.
I've driven outcomes in both high-velocity startup cultures and complex enterprise ecosystems. I have worked for companies like ELSA Speak, BCG, frog design, Qure AI and have consulted startups such as Tortoise BNPL, Otonomy Labs - Robotics, Collective AI - Sequoia funded. I also like to explore and have built products like - April AI: Grammarly for communication, What the CV (10K+ users), Symplicured: AI Doctor. I am an active co organiser of Flutter Abu Dhabi & Dubai and AOH.
